What age groups do you cater for?

We cater to children aged 4 right up to seniors! Children must have already turned 4 before the September season start. We hold try t-ball / baseball days in mid-July in which you can come down, have a hit, throw, and chat with the committee. On these days you can also register to play, we would love to welcome you to the Red Sox family!

 

When does the season start and end?

The Summer season usually commences mid-September and runs through to February, with finals in March breaking for the school holidays.

 

How much does it cost?

Fees are dependant on the age group.. You can view fees via the registration portal when it goes live.

 

Can I use my Active Kids Voucher?

Yes, we are an approved NSW Services Active Kids Provider. Please have your voucher downloaded and ready to process when registering.

 

Where are games played & when is training?

Depending on the season draw, we would typically play at Hilder Reserve our home ground, St Helens Park, Catherine Fields, Moorebank & Bass Hill. Games for juniors are played Saturday mornings, with seniors Saturday midday and afternoon games. Senior league (U16’s) is played Monday nights and over 35’s are played Friday nights.

Training is dependant on the coach and their availability. Training nights could be Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoons/evening.

My child would like to be placed with a friend is this possible?

You are able to make a request for placement when your register. We will make every effort to fulfill your request however placement is not guaranteed.

What uniform is supplied?

ALL NEW & RETURNING players receive a sponsored training shirt with rego.

FOR THE 24/25 SEASON ONLY ALL players will receive a playing shirt which they will retain.

NEW players to the club and 1ST year ZOOKA players will receive a NEW hat.

What uniform do I need to purchase?

White playing pants, red socks & a navy belt. Runners/Joggers are fine for playing. You can purchase baseball gear from RBI Australia >> RBI Australia Let them know you are from Camden Red Sox and they will help you out!

Replacement hats can be purchased via the canteen.

 

What equipment will I need?

Players will need a glove & Zooka players will also need a protector.

Our team kit bags are stocked with batting helmets and bats for players to use at training & game day.

**While stocks last, AUSSIE T-BALL NEW registrations receive a free AUSSIE T-BALL KIT which includes a glove & ball.

 

I would like to volunteer, who do I contact?

Fantastic! Being a 100% volunteer-run club, we depend on helpers. The first thing we suggest you do is to obtain your WWCC from Services NSW. If you would like to coach, or assistant coach please contact our coaching coordinator. All volunteers are required to register as a volunteer through the same online link.
